Privacy on this website

Updated October 31, 2026

Upland is an educational initiative of Science for Silence, Inc. This notice describes the public website, email inquiries, and links to third-party donation services. It does not describe a separate student account or research program.

Visiting and listening

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Requests for pages and audio can expose technical information such as your IP address, browser information, and request details to the hosting provider for delivery and security. The current site does not include a student sign-up form or an advertising analytics script.

The audio player requests the recording from our hosting provider. Listening does not require you to provide your name or email.

Contacting us

Email links open your email application. If you send a message, the information you choose to include is handled through our email provider and may be used to respond to your inquiry and coordinate the requested follow-up. Please do not include student names, health information, or other sensitive student records in an initial inquiry.

Donations through Zeffy

Donation links take you to Zeffy. Payment details are entered on Zeffy’s checkout, not on this website. Zeffy and its payment providers process those details under their own policies. Donation and contact information may be shared with Science for Silence, Inc. for contribution administration and acknowledgments. Review the privacy information linked at checkout before submitting.
